Actress Jennifer Aniston appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live this week to promote her new film, Life of Crime. Aniston is best known for her role on NBC’s popular sitcom Friends, which has not been on air with a new season in ten years. That didn’t stop talk show host Jimmy Kimmel from attempting a reunion.
Kimmel arranged to have the kitchen set from Friends replicated in his studio. Asking Aniston to have a seat at the dining room table, he handed her a script which he said was a fan fiction episode of Friends that he wrote where he worked himself in as Ross, Aniston’s boyfriend on the show.
A seemingly exasperated Aniston read the lines, which involved a lot of love-making between herself and Kimmel’s character. Eventually, actresses Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow joined the scene to reunite the entire main female cast of the original show. Obviously Aniston was aware of the skit the whole time but she did a pretty good job acting like it was all a surprise.
