South Bend Municipal Primary Election Results 2019

James Mueller, Mayor Pete Buttigieg’s hand-picked successor, is the winner of South Bend’s Democratic mayoral primary. He will face Republican Sean Haas in November.

In other competitive primaries, Karen White, Rachel Tomas Morgan, and Lori Hamann have won the Democratic nominations for three at-large seats on the South Bend Common Council. Also winning contested races are Tim Scott (1st District), Henry Davis Jr. (2nd District), Sharon McBride (3rd District), Troy Warner (4th District), and Sheila Niezgodski (6th District).

The results below are based on unofficial results reported from St. Joseph County officials.
