Mayor Pete Buttigieg will be hosting a “Mayor’s Night Out” on Thursday night at Harrison Primary Center at 3302 W. Western Ave. from 5:30 to 7:00 pm.
South Bend residents will get a chance to meet with the mayor to discuss municipal concerns. The five-minute, one-on-one discussions with Mayor Buttigieg are held on a first-come, first-served basis.
Department heads will also be available to provide information on South Bend city government projects and programs. Among them will be the department heads of Police, Fire, Streets, Code Enforcement, Community Investment, and Parks & Rec, among others.
Residents are also encouraged to call 311, the City’s resident service line, with questions or for additional information about City services and events.
This will be the first “Mayor’s Night Out” since Buttigieg has returned from his deployment in Afghanistan.
