Early voting begins today across the state of Indiana for the 2015 municipal primary elections. St. Joseph County residents can vote early at the County-City Building in downtown South Bend (227 W. Jefferson Blvd) or the County Services Building in Mishawaka (219 Lincoln Way West).
Early voting will take place Monday thru Friday, April 7 until May 1. The hours are 8 am until 4:30 pm. The two Saturdays before the primary will be open from 8 am until 4 pm. Monday, May 4 will have limited voting between 8:00 am and noon.
You may also request an absentee ballot by downloading an application and mailing it to the St. Joseph County Election Board at 101 S. Main Street, South Bend, IN, 46601.
Primary Day voting will take place on May 5 from 6 am until 6 pm at your local precinct.
Remember to bring a valid photo ID with you when you vote! These include an Indiana driver’s license, state ID, passport, military ID or an Indiana state university ID with an expiration date.

Hopefully the wackos that forced the Religious Freedom legislation through that will be unseated. It is time our legislators work on the needs of the our whole community instead of just special interests.
