Are you looking for something to keep your children busy this summer?
The South Bend Police Department is hosting a week-long Summer Youth Academy during the week of June 22. The program is open to students who will be attending high school during the 2015-16 school year. The academy is free but limited to 30 students.
Topics include crime scene processing, narcotics enforcement, patrol operations, and the K-9, SWAT, and Bomb Disposal Unit.
Completed applications should be mailed no later than June 18 and addressed to: Crime Prevention Unit, South Bend Police Department 701 West Sample St. South Bend, IN 46601-2821
