Notre Dame’s Old2Gold sale is this Saturday

The annual Notre Dame Old2Gold yard sale takes place this Saturday, June 8 from 7 AM until 10 AM at the St. Joseph County Fairgrounds on the south side of South Bend.

Thousands of donated items from students will be on sale including bicycles, furniture, household items, clothing, and other miscellaneous items. For the first time, the sale will also include apparel items from Hammes Bookstore, as well as used office furniture from the university.

Notre Dame says that you should not expect to find electronics such as iPhones, video game consoles, or flat screen TVs.

Most items will be priced under $5, although bikes and furniture may cost more. Proceeds from the sale benefit 20 local charities.

Admission costs $5 per person. Children six and under get in for free. All sales are cash only.

Parking opens at 4 AM at the fairgrounds with the line for ticket sales beginning at 5 AM. Ticket sales begin at 6 AM. The sale starts at 7 AM.
