The next Everybody Bikes South Bend community bike ride is this Friday

Get your helmets ready. The next Everybody Bikes South Bend community bike ride is this Friday, June 7. The ride begins at Purple Porch Co-op, which located at 123 N. Hill Street near downtown South Bend.

The rides are intended to take advantage of South Bend’s First Friday activities, which take place on the first Friday of each month in downtown South Bend. The routes each month direct riders to downtown along cycling paths and bike lanes.

In order to make it a family-friendly event, the rides are short. The routes are only five to six miles long. All riders must wear a bicycle helmet and sign a waiver.

The Bike Michiana Coalition is the organizer of the community rides. Click here to visit their Facebook page.
