The city of South Bend is closing a stretch of Angela Boulevard along with a portion of the East Bank Trail starting on Monday. They will remain closed for approximately one month while utility work is underway.
According to a press release from the city:
Starting Monday, April 19, Angela Boulevard from Otsego to Michigan streets will be closed for AEP to install an underground transmission line. A section of the East Bank Trail from Angela Boulevard to Pokagon Street will also be closed for the duration of this project. Detour routes will be Michigan Street and North Shore Drive. The street is expected to reopen Wednesday, May 19, weather permitting.
