South Bend will soon have more than 100 new jobs. Crowe Horwath is hiring hourly workers for both full and part-time positions. The company, which is one of the largest accounting and consulting firms in the US with over 3000 employees, says that it is hiring due to growth in both audits and tax practices.
“We’ve already hired 40 people this year, with plans to increase that number to 60 by the end of 2014 and 100 by the end of 2015,” said Gary Fox, South Bend office managing partner.
“These positions are for those interested in providing client support for our audit and tax groups, but are looking for a more flexible arrangement, whether they are college or graduate students, parents of school-aged children or others looking for an adjustable schedule in South Bend.”
The positions are tailored to meet an individual’s skill sets. The company provides internal training to teach new hires the skills that will be necessary for the various roles and responsibilities with each position.
“As a firm that started in South Bend as Crowe Chizek, and is now a national firm that is globally branded, we’re glad to be bringing more jobs to the area,” Fox added.
The company lists 20 job openings for South Bend on their website as of Friday. They include positions in their audit and tax service business, as well as support services such as human resources.
