Notre Dame football is officially here. To celebrate the return of the Fighting Irish season, the South Bend Parks Department is running a promotion tomorrow at two of its municipal golf courses.
You can golf at either Elbel or Erskine for only $20. The charge covers 18 holes of golf per person plus a golf cart. It is valid only after 1 pm. Reservations are suggested.
The Parks Department is also advertising six pack domestics for $10 and imports for $12.
Notre Dame plays Purdue on Saturday at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis as part of the Shamrock Series. The game will be broadcast on NBC at 7:30. The Irish are ranked #11 in the country with a 2-0 record. Purdue is unranked at 1-1.
